The Stage is run on a not-for-profit basis by local volunteers to provide a welcoming and adaptable venue for a wide variety of activities in Norwich.
Our space
We have two fully-furnished adjoining rooms, one with a sofa and soft chairs for informal gatherings, one with tables and chairs for more formal meetings or tutorials.
There is a large open-plan kitchen and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. When you hire The Stage the whole space is yours to use.
You will have free Broadband WiFi access and use of a Windows PC, an A4 inkjet colour printer, two whiteboard easels and a high-quality digital projector.
Our location
The Stage is on the west side of St Augustine’s Street, near the turning into Sussex Street. There are cycle racks at either end of St Augustine’s Street and in Sussex Street.
The Anglia Square car parks are nearby and some free visitor parking is available in Sussex Street and the Leonards Street car park.

Our charges
The Stage is available for hire seven days a week, from 9 am to 9 pm.
Our day rate is £12 for the first hour and £6 for each subsequent hour.
